The original card can be used for the update, without the need for a card with an editable CID: [Please Register or Login to download file]
You need Linux (I used Ubuntu) and sdtool.

1. The old files on the original card must be saved the first time

2. Then, with the following Linux commands, remove the write protection of the original card:
chmod a+x amd64-sdtool
./amd64-sdtool /dev/mmcblk0 unlock

3. Format the card, copy the new maps onto it and overwrite the following old files over the new ones:
cryptnav\data\data\misc\sd_meta.dat
cryptnav\data\connect\rnw\nav_root.dat.

Does anyone have a map with Romania, Bulgaria and Russia 2022?

Hello friend @dziakoni Can you please analyze further your steps?Not very familiar to linux here.We format the sd card,but before we copy the content to the pc? The commands are 2 or one? (It seems one to me by the way it is written) Which files we replace with old ones? Also is this the final maps update on sync 1.1 on Ford fiesta? (I have sync 1.0 but i will soon replace to sync 1.1 module).
