FordActivator.apk issues

I'm having trouble with Fordactivator.apk, can anyone help please?
I have loaded it from my desktop PC onto a new 64gb MicroSD (exFAT).
I fit the SD card into my Moto 6+ (Android 9) The phone creates some Android directories onto the SD card alongside the Fordactivator.apk
I can run the Fordactivator.apk which asks if I want to install an update this application, the only non "close" option is "install", it then says "App installed"
I go into apps, find Fordactivator and run it. It immediately says "FordActivator keeps stopping", App info or Close app.

At this point I am lost

Is it worth buying? or phone navigation is better?

I think it was worth buying. It did jump my maps forward by 10 years. However, it are not completely up to date; it is still missing some recent roundabouts, etc. It will never be as up-to-date as phone navigation, but it is far more convenient to use.

The maps show the routes at the end of 2022 and the beginning of 2023 (F11). There is no F12 for Sync 2 yet, they are all fake that you can get.
