I am new to this forum.
I would need some help to keep my Navigon running.
I own a Navigon 70 Plus since 2010.
It seems that it has been upgraded to a 72 Plus via a software update : using Navigon Fresh 3.6.0, I got the information that the hardware is using NAVIGON PL72_UPG version 8.2.0 from 2013-04-13

Is there a way to better understand my system configuration ?
Is there a way to update the maps (only France will be enough for me) ?

I am mostly running Apple Macintoshes with various system levels but I can have access to a Windows computer if needed.

Save the original flash content to the PC.
You have functional flash content with Igo Primo installed.
France maps installed.
Primo can be put on flash or card.

I am sorry but I do not understand very well your proposal : You propose to install a complete software configuration based on the Igo Primo system ?

You decide to install Igo Primo.
You have up-to-date maps.
The latest Navigon maps .......2020...!!!!!

Is it possible to install it from an SD card?
