Thank you for replying to my query, however as a 72 year old with little computer savy is is all above my head. I just didnt feel paying Binatone £32 for an upgrade would worthwhile. but once again thank you for your reply

The A430 is a dinosaur, and while it can run basic TomTom Navigator or iGO 8, it's a bit slow and will struggle with modern software and maps.

However, it costs nothing to try so it's up to you.
