Hi,

For this update, you will need 8-16gb (32Gb max) SD card or micro SD card with adapter.

1 Format SD card to FAT32 if using PC or to MSDOS FAT If using MAC.

2 Insert it into your car close cover and turn on the ignition, wait for 2 minutes

3 Turn the ignition off and remove the SD card

4 Insert it into the PC or MAC and there you will find the file "loopback.ex3"

[Please Register or Login to download file]

There are 3 folders and 1 file

Click on "download all" button as seen on the picture attached.

The size of the download is over 4GB so might take some time.

Once downloaded extract all files to your computer and then transfer to SD card.

Make sure you are using the same SD card yor loopback.ex3 file

Files on SD card should look like on the attached picture. (You can keep loopdir folder that was created before)

1 insert SD card into your car SD slot and close cover.

2 Turn the ignition and wait till TomTom system starts.

3 Once starts It will ask for Update, press Yes and wait till it's finished.

If not asked for update Press NAV button and then Yes for update.

Once finished your new map should be working.

Hi.
I followed the instructions in order to get an updated map on my 2015 Mazda CX5 (UK). The download was fine and copying it to the memory card was ok to. Unfortunately when I put the new card in the car it seems to download ok and the % bar moves across ok but when I try to use the Sat Nav I get a message saying that the 'You cannot use this map on this device'. It looks like this is a 1110 map so should this work ok? I have tried it twice from scratch and still no luck.
Any advice really appreciated.
Thanks, Stuart.
