Hi I am trying to update my nuvi 2599

H/w id is 1947
s/w is 880

I am on the verge of just getting a new map; I do have the latest for australia it just keeps saying they are corrupt cannot unlock; and downloads the partial version in basecamp

I have unlocked the maps using the gimunlock
I have deleted gupdate, patched it and changed to rgn ( I loaded it over using webupdater); it created a new gupdate file.
I have performed a master reset
I still cannot unlock the maps....

I have even converted the .img to basecamp extract and loaded to the garmin via that way, it still cannot open the map....

No sure if you sorted it out yet but here is the patched .rgn & .gcd files I used last year successfully.you will see I advanced the firmware version so Garmin express wont update it automatically.
