Bluechart G2 image file to GPSMAP62s

Hi! I was wondering if someone could help me. I have gmapsupp.img file of two areas for bluechart g2. Can I transfer the file to my garmin GPSMAP62s so I can use them both in my gps? Thanks.

Yes you can rename one or both maps for use on your device, only the file extension .img is important.

Hi i am trying to use a g2 vision map of the north island of new zealand on a sd card, now it works on homeport but wont work on another garmin chart plotter that can take g2 maps. what do i have to do to use the g2 vision maps on any garmin g2 capable units please thanks

NOTE found out why it was locked, downloaded the one that was not locked and it works thanks :)
