Can't find Nuvi 3790 maps

I am flabbergasted. My nuvi 3790 has North America maps pre-installed which I want to get rid of because I stay in South Africa. However, I can't see the maps on my garmin drive. The properties show that 4 gigs are used out of the 8 gigs, so it is installed there somewhere. However, I cant find the maps! It is not hidden and I checked all the folders, it is nowhere! Is it installed on some flash memory or something that I can't access. Any help will be greatly appreciated. I can't find the solution anywhere.

Never mind. Problem solved. It was hidden under .system. The previous garmins put it under /maps so I did not expect it there.
