Cannot calculate the route

Hi,

I tried to update my European maps and this appeared to work - Maps were loaded successfully etc. When I came to calculate a route, I got the error "Cannot calculate the route" [OK].

So I went to my backup and copied everything from the Garmin folder back in (removed the new files first). There is approx 1.5Gb free on the device when as per windows explorer. The problem still exists. I try to make a route, and the percentage clicks up to 99% then it says 'Cannot calculate the route'. The only way it successfully routes is if I try to route to somewhere extremely close (100yards away on same street).

Any ideas what I may've done or how to fix it? Will be a bit lost without this working. Many thanks in advance!

Update. I fixed it. I enables Windows explorer to see hidden/system, files etc. and noticed there were some files starting with a . (dot). I think put there by my Mac. Deleted them and all is well!
