Hi all,

I have read the additional file on the FAQ about JCV but when I am checking the files, there are few of them...

There are so many JCV, there is JCV_Full-Screen, JCV_LaneAssistFull, JCV_LaneAssistMedium,JCV_Split-Screen etc etc...

1. What I want to know is, do I just need 1 of them to guide me to the appropriate lane when driving?
2. Does adding all of them conflicts each other?
3. If I do not need all of them, which one do you usually have?

If I want something like below, which file would it be?

I've asked the same question in another post. I have nuvi 40 with new North America 2017.10. But not sure which JCV to use. If some one could answer this question, it would be much appreciated.

The old devices like 1490 etc support full screen JCV th new ones like 24xx the half

So does nuvi 40 considered as new or old? And does every map have its own JCV file? I mean i downloaded unlocked North America maps (torrent), but when i click on junction view, my screen is just blank white.

I believe it is a new devices and yes every map has his own JCV files don't try to use others.

Newbie here. I have installed the correct north american maps on my Nuvi52LM for an upcoming trip but I'm confused as to which JVC file is supported by this device could someone please advise

I placed all of them in my SD card directory. It worked fine for me.
