Garmin Alpha 100 with TT15 dog collar Europa Frequency Probl

Hi. I have got a Alpha 100 with TT15 dog collar. I bought it from USA . I am living in EU. This collar have a frequency problem about EU. I found the 3.10 firmware. İf can I load this firmware version to my device it will work. Because the frequeny problem starting with 3.20 version. How Can I load this firmware to my GPS and collar. Thank you.

You have to tell us also what is your current firmware ?

So you have to know first the HWID of the device and downgrade the firmware step by step up to 3.10
Please take a full backup of all files before to start.After since you will know your HWID you may prepare the firmware to be loaded to your device with RGN_tool

I have dowload the previous firmwares from your link. I take a full backup of all files in the Alpha 100 device to my PC.

But I can't download RGN Tool and Updater. The message is "The folder that you attempted to download is empty. You can't download empty folders." How can I download them?

Unfortunately I dont know how to downgrade the firmware step by step up to 3.10. I dont have any technical information about this. If you help me about this in detail I can do it. Thank you very much.

Then tell me the HWID of your device please! if you don't know it you just open with the rgn_tool your file GUPDATE.GCD and you find.
Then you prepare the firmwares that you dowloaded with this same number and press rgn button to save the firmware like 133901000340.rgn in case the HWID is 1339 and the version of firmware 3.40 then you open the rgn with Updater.exe and press the 'USB Device' leave it open. (Your new file of .rgn and the updater.exe should be in the same directory).
Put the unit in preboot [Hold 'UP' while powering on]. Garmin device preboot mode
When your device details appear in the window beside to 'USB Device', press 'OK' on Updater.exe and wait to finish the process. Like this you have to download form up to down step by step.
I remind to you that you may face problem with the collar as i described above!

@tekmen So you may face problem with you collars since according to the firmware history the work only with firmware higher of 5.40

Changes made from version 2.50 to 3.00:

Added HD BarkDetect for users in Norway, Sweden, Finland and Denmark. NOTE: Once a T5 or TT15 is updated to this version of software, and set to transmit HD BarkDetect information, it can only be tracked by Alpha 100's with version 5.40 or greater software.

Hi, i need software more than 3.1 without Disabled dog tracking when used in countries for which the radio frequencies are not authorized. in version 3.1 cant have option change lang its only english

I picked up an Alpha 100 for a friend that lives in Zimbabwe today. It's a USA model. I got it on clearance and it has the 2.20 ancient firmware on it that has many bugs. I need to find the version 3.10 firmware and upgrade it since I can't upgrade to the newest USA firmware or it will no longer work in southern Africa.

Does anyone have a source for the 3.10 firmware and how I can manually upgrade it?

Any chance it will work with a TT15 Mini?

I've got the Alpha 100 with HWID: 1562 will it be possible for me to downgrade, is there a better way to unblock the radio?

I've recently made the mistake of purchasing the Alpha 100 + TT15 US collar. I live in Sweden and am having the same issue with a blocked radio. We're in a tough spot as we originally trained our dog in the US with an e-Collar and found out that they cannot be purchased in the EU. So I bought this unit on our last trip home only to find that it doesn't work.

Are there any patched firmware (more recent version) that resolves this issue? I'm in rural Sweden and it would be legal for me to use this radio without a license.
