Garmin and Microsoft streets and trips question

Garmin and Microsoft streets and trips question

Postby fmmagyar » Mon May 06, 2013 7:04 pm

I have a Garmin 1350 nuvi lmt. I read that one can make a streets and trips map and install it in a garmin. I have tried but without success. Says that route installed successfully but can not find it. Have read that nuvi types are capable of this feature and some are not. I thought I had read that my type garmin was compatible with Microsofts streets and trips but for some reason I can not get the programs to work. thus, I assume that the Garmin I own is not compatible with the microsoft streets and trips program. Am I assuming correctly and if not what program should I use to make this happen.

It doesn't support save routes, so that you can't copy any routes from external programs too.

Thank you. I kind of thought that after the many unsuccessful attempts I made to save a route.
