Download WinCE Emulator:

Hidden text: ON
[Please Register or Login to download file]

1. If you have 64-bit Windows, run vs_emulator_x64_vista.exe to install Device Emulator (x64). If you have 32-bit Windows, run vs_emulator.exe to install Device Emulator (x86).
2. Install to the default installation directory.
3. Run Device Emulator.exe, it will create in C:\Temp a folder named "Storage Card" (i.e. C:\Temp\Storage Card). This folder will be used by WinCE to emulate the storage space on device.
4. Copy to "C:\Temp\Storage Card" any files that you want to test with, such as a navigation program or apps.
5. Under the Select Image menu, choose "WinCE 6.0 SDMMC" if device card name is SDMMC or choose "WinCE 6.0 Storage Card" if device card name is Storage Card.
6. Under the Select video size menu, choose resolution correspond to device.
7. Under Select folder for "Storage Card"... menu, choose C:\Temp\Storage Card then click OK.

this link has died, however
http://www.navitotal.com/showthread.php?6758-WinCE-Emulator-with-English-ROM-s
link is active, is yours older version or newer version?
i gotta try to understand these 2 din car wincows ce, i cant keep asking my bro to bring his car, and then i try a method of garmin and it fails and then he goes back. been doing that for 3 days.
Figured i could try and test on emulator and then do a better attempt on his device.

P.S His device reads mmc as StorageCard i see that you have 2 options up one for SDMMC and other for Storage Card
