Can anyone let me know how files should look to be added to a Garmin drivesmart? I have applied new firmware so it will take unlocked maps apparently but the format looks totally different from the nuvi.

Mine is a European device. I'm planning to add the USA maps into a sd card but don't know what files it is expecting. It doesn't look like the gmapsupp.img approach of the Nuvis works... any help gratefully receuved!

It is simple you just download unlocked maps and copy them on the map directory either on the device memory either on the SD card
