Garmin map is shifted

Postby seanburke » Mon Jul 26, 2010 3:02 pm

Hi all

I've installed Garmin onto my Omnitech GPS, but strangely enough, the map screen seems shifted to the left. This results in the left edge of the map screen being displayed on the right edge of the screen.

Has anyone else seen this and/or is there a solution?

Thanks

Sorry, my bad. The Omnitech is running Windows CE 4.2. Resolution...480x272. I downloaded the Garmin software as part of the Omnitech Super Pack 3.5 USA (Garmin, Igo, Amigo, Navigon) that was posted over on the TechSmartTips website

Link...[Please Register or Login to download file]

The software works great, except for the shift in the map screen. I have a screen shot of the issue. Not sure if I can post a picture, but if i can, I will!

That didn't work for me :)
But at any rate...it's an old issue for this resolution...I don't think there is or will be any fix. One more reason for me not to use Garmin.

Thanks.

Looks like my attached picture took. If you look on the right side, you'll notice how the map is overlapped or shifted.

Maybe I'll go with TOMTOM!!

Hello,

is that some chinese pna ? I use chinese pna too, win ce 6.0 - 480x272, same specif. like your, and no problem with screen resolution, did you download this file bellow?

[Please Register or Login to download file]

if you didn't , download this version, extract, and try to use, i'm not at home now, i'll send my script and necessary files... But first try this version, you can try to run directly QUE.EXE

Sorry, as described by Seanburke it maybe 8% at the rightside of the screen is shifted, other 92% from left is ok. But it happened only when I aet the map with 3D orientation. Normal screen is shown when using Track up...
@3D shown map is lagging about 1-2 second, track up is better...
