Hi all,
I'm new in this forum.
I try to find a system for unlocking my garmin but I don't understand what system is correct for my model.

If it usefull, this is all that I've found in system information of my garmin

model : Nüvi 1300 S4_R KP1 V4 LC 2GB
Software : 4.60
Maps autoroute : WW DEM
Base map : nr. 5.0
Maps : CN Europe NT 2011.20 Italy & Greece

It is not necessary to unlock a Garmin system. You only can unlock Garmin maps, if they aren't unlocked yet. It would be useful to update your old map to actual version 2012.40 which you can find in New Maps section.

I tried to download maps as you told me 2012.40 from here:

I extracted the files, installed usb32.msi to configure the connection with the GARMIN.

At this point I did not understand what to do.

I tried to install CNEUNT2012_40Update.msi I check out a program for updating maps
This connects to the Garmin, but I always say that there are no maps.

What should I do?

BUY SD CARD FOR YOUR NUVI IF YOU DONT HAVE IT
4 GB
DOWNLOAD THIS FILES I WILL PM YOU
THEN WHEN YOU DOWNLOAD IT UN RAR IT ON DESKTOP
FORMAT YOUR SD TO BE CLEAN...
MAKE FOLDER ON SD NAME garmin
THEN COPY MAPS FROM DESKTOP ONLY MAP FILE ON SD CARD IN GARMIN FOLDER PUT IN YOUR DEVICE RESTARI IT AND THIS IS IT!!!
