Dear all,

I have an uncle of mine with an Garmin Nuvi 255w navigationsystem.
And I was wondering if there are new maps/software available for this device?

Because Garmin I've never worked with this system, with TOMTOM i have worked for a while.

Who can help me?

When i use the garmin for the first time and connected to my PC, the statusbar dident go further.
So i place an empty SD-kard in it of my, now its almost at the end, but nothing is happening.

The most easiest way is, to copy an unlocked map image (gmapsupp.img) into a folder named Garmin on SD.
For updating the device software you have to install Garmin WebUpdater on your PC. So the connection problems also should be solved, because the newest drivers also will be installed with WebUpdater.
