Garmin nuvi 265wt[HELP]

Hi everyone looking for a bit of help if possible i have just bought an SD card for my nuvi and installed an updated map but when i run the new map after restsarting the device some of the options on menus like POI etc are not showing on screen as they do on the pre installed maps from garmin. is there a tool or way in which i can show you all what my current garmin has installed and what is installed when i swithc to the updated maps!

here is the message i get when i try and add new updated maps onto a memory card the memory card is inserted

There is not enough space on garmin numvi. you need an additional 0.97GB to copy these files


garmin nuvi-space free 1.72 GB
Total size-1.85GB

the memory card is 4g with nothing on yet!

If I recall, you can't use any card bigger than 2Gig.

Do you have latest firmware? Have used 4gb cards with no issues on the 2x5W series. In order for new map to be recognized, at least if it is unlocked, it has to be gmapsupp.img format inside a Garmin folder on the SD card.
