hi

i have a Garmin Nuvi 300. downloaded map Europe 2012.30
the unlocked one. use a cracked mapInstall

i am able to put on the maps on a SD card and run it in the Garmin. problem is.
when i install the complete map. it will not work. it does not see the maps.
when i install allot of the area. it wil work but bot correctly. i keep getting the question which province? and not the country. when i select 1Gbyte it works fine. i get the country i live in. can go to countries i added around my home country.

Software version 6.20
audio 2.20
GTM 10 SW N/A
GPS SW 3.00

any options how i can add the complete map? or is this garmin just to old to read the complete area?

You can only use map images up to 2GB on your device. But you can make 2 images from the full map: first part call gmapprom.img and second part call gmapsupp.img, the second part you can also put on SD.
