I just bought a Garmin Nuvi 3790 Volvo Cars Edition
I want to go in the menu to change the mtp mode to mass storage mode but cannot find that menu in the developper menu!
I updated the terminal using Garmin Express but no thing has changed!
please help me!

It's not an MTP device is the reason why it's not listed in the Diagostics Page. Are you wanting to see the [normally hidden} .System folder? In Windows Control Panel, press File Explorer Options [or Folder Options depending on OS version] > View and then set like this:

In addition: Should you wish to remove the Volvo logo on startup, it's possible to flash the standard Garmin logo to it. Post again if you'd like to do so.

is it possible to change th whole firmware of this terminal to the international or europe version of the Nuvi 3790?

I'm happy to help you with both. Firstly I must know what firmware it's presently running as a search has not found a specific version for Volvo 3790. It might in fact be running standard US/EU 37xx fw with just a custom logo and Volvo dealer PIOs added. Give me a link to the firmware if you have one or at least tell me both it's HWID and firmware version. You can find that by holding the battery symbol on the main "Where To? Map" screen for ~5 to 6 seconds to reach a hidden page headed "SW Ver etc". Then press Next>Start Test>More. The first line will read "Boot BLK BXXXX-01 x.xx." The 4 numerals "XXXX" show the HWID. The 3 numerals "xx.x" show the firmware version.

I just found the version which is 5.10
but for the HWID I could not find anything

You were on the page titled "Version Information nuvi 3709" and needed to press "Start Test" > "More" to see the extra screen. Anyway, the PCB P/N of 105-01652-00 does indeed identify it as compatible with standard 3790 US/EU firmware and same hardware but i do still need to know it's current HWID for sure. Please do the extra actions and report it's HWID.

As I suspected it's a 'stock-standard' 3790 device with a custom Logo. Before I help you modify it, you need to make copies of 2 of its regions for safety. Download this file 'Garmin.rar':

it directly to a clean empty microSD of at least 1GB size. Firstly ensure the card's format is either FAT16 or FAT32. With the device fully off, place the card in the nuvi and turn it on. If it has a low battery either fully charge it first or only do this with it connected to an adequite power source such as the vehicle charger. Wait for the procedure to fully finish indicated by the device rebooting. Remove the card and look at the contents, there will be 2 new files in the root named 16.bin and 41.bin. Keep a copy in a safe place of the 41.bin because that's your device's non-volatile region which may help to restore in the future. The file named '16.bin' is the one I need to see because that's its present logo region. Upload it somewhere and post the link please, preferably use Zippyshare or similar free site.

the loader finishes successfully but could not find any of the two files you asked for!
