Hi,
I have a Garmin nuvi 40LM with life-time map updates. I have updated the maps, firmware, and software updates many times via GarminExpress.
What I want to do is a backup of my maps, and system files from the garmin device on to my PC hard drive.
However, when I enable hidden items on Windows and I view the Garmin folders there are no map files or \.System folder available in the \Garmin folder.
Is there a way to enable the Garmin device via pressing certain buttons or icon options onscreen to enable the hidden \.System folder visible in Windows 10 .or to enable developer mode on the device?
How can I see the installed map files on the device?
