Hi Guys. Iv got a nuvi 200w. I was wondering if its possible to load 205 software on it or any other model?

Hi there...

First off I don't know if it's possible but you should be aware of some possible problems first.

1. Screen may not display properly
2. Some functions may not work
3. Frying the firmware and making a nice brick for sale on eBay

I have replaced the firmware on Nuvi 200 with that of of the 200w and found that the screen did not work. Re flashed the firmware with the original and all was back to normal.

I also flashed a Nuvi 310 with a special firmware and lost the bluetooth function. Flash it back to standard firmware but Bluetooth still did not work.
