and had done unlock for it

but could not run garmin on it

Please more details, about error,what error, probably it shows you message that are missing some of .dlls files, and what did you do exactly?

What version of garmin xt for win ce did you use?

and disable port splitting in .mscr script , generally garmin xt for window ce 5.0 is very dificult to run on mio moov pnas...

it give me error that this is not compatible with this widnow type

Try this, go directly to folder \Garmin\Apps\WM and find file titled QUE.exe , and try to run this file directly from windows ce explorer, post here what's happened, and what message win ce reported !?

I did try this and it keep say this not windows combatable

Unfortunately it seems your device isn't compatible with modificated garmin xt for win ce, some mio moov devices can't run garmin xt for win ce, for ex. mio moov 200 - one of models, cause there is more versions of mio moov devices...

You can try these versions for mio devices, maybe one of them will run on your device, it's dificult to solve that problem if i don't have device near to me, to test...

Do you have: coredll.dll, ceshell.dll, commctrl.dll, and wininet.dll in your \Windows directory? You may need to put them with the others in Garmin\Apps\WM also, it's dependent from device to device, there is no universal solution for garmin xt on win ce pnas, jus testing...

The Que.exe that works on a PNA is modified to call aygshel2.dll and coredl2.dll. There are 3 different versions each of these files in the packages that are working. The rest of the files are the same. You can see the different sizes:

There are 9 combinations. Updated GarminXT with different dll has all combinations ready to test at

i did try...it keep say this is invalid window CE ..... :( i think i will never get this to run
i need garmin as it is the only one that update there maps so fast not like the other

Please know that iGO Primo is coming out soon and will have brand new maps.

Like i told before, it requests many testing, cause every device is story for it, garmin xt for win ce xt isn't developed by garmin it's just cracked version and not supported for all win ce pnas... One idea, try to unlock your device with mio pocket 3.0 , it has many of necessary dlls files and mio pocket is one of the best ways to unlock win ce pnas. And on unlocked m401 with mio pocket 3.0 try to run garmin xt for win ce.

Igo often updates maps, checks for igo maps in igo subforum, you have latest navteq and teleatlas maps 2010 march !

your mio 310 was the first package i managed to run on a Mio 510 (i think the only diference is the screen size)

yet after a few seconds a screen pop ups to request activation for a 8 digit code, and there i dont know where to go (i see some buttons down the virtual keboard but they wont get into the screen).


any idea of where to go from here?

I got another "recompiled" version of the exe that works with the "Storage Card" path and also with the right screen resolution configuration then i just went to the usual unlock process using jetmouse app now I have a unlocked mio c510 working fine (wince 4.2), the cool thing is that I dont need the scripts for the portspliter or the taskbar hidding trick :)


I needed 6 hours to get it working and just sleep 3 hours.... but Iim so happy with the result, i just imported using mapsource my off road tracks from other device, this weekend will try to record a delta wing track
