help needed garmin map install

Hello. I have an old Garmin device SP 2820 on my motorbike which is enough for me as I have a clever enough phone to navigate me as well. I downloaded Europe 2021 NT version here. But it doesnt have any setup executable file. I need to see the map on my mapsource to be put into device harddrive. Any help would be appreciated. Please teach as if you are teaching a newbie.

You say you have Mapsource installed ,this includes Mapinstall.
The various gmap folders contain the map components to make a map set.
Do you have C:\ProgramData\Garmin

Tell us what is happening when you start Mapsource and select product in the dropdown

Yes, I have Garmin folder in program data. I install and see the map on mapsource, then I send the map onto my unit (Streetpilot 2820). It seems all is fine with the transfer. But then the device says there is no map. And on mapsource, it says map is not installed when i click the ulocking regions. I ll try with the .img files. I simply need to copy these gmapsup.img files into program data map folder, right?
Finaly I sorted it out.
For those who may in the future find it impossible to work on their devices,
Uninstall all Garmin maps from device and computer and erase all files and folders and then simply copy paste the City Navigator........ folder into Program Data - Garmin - Maps folder. Then it should work fine.
PS. (I own my old Garmin Streetpilot 2820 on my motorbike)
