How to format nuvi using RMPREPUSB (Video)
This method work for me on Garmin nuvi 750

Settings
Max/GARMIN/Set part as non bootable/MS DOS Bootable/Boot as FDD/Fat 32/prepare Drive

I don't recommend formatting device or flash memory. It is not necessary and many mistakes occurring during formatting device or SD. Nearly every week someone comes and asks for help, because he has formatted his device by mistake and never made a backup of system data.
