how to split a big map in 2 little maps ?

how can i make 2 maps (prom and supp )from a big map ?
i have a nuvi 300 and it can not see maps larger than 2gb .

Splitting of ready IMGs is not possible lossless. Use the MapSource version to make your individual IMGs.
