How do you update Nuvi50??

Hi

I just bought a Nuvi50, and I have no idea what to do to update the map (Australian).

Please point me to the right direction i.e. what to download and where to put the downloaded stuff...

I bought one of these a couple of days ago too.
There is a free download from Garmin which will gove you the latest 2012.40 map.
The website address is on the box that your Nuvi 50 came in.
If you want to have stuff like Oztopo, you will need to get a memory card to suit your GPS. Take it to Dick Smith or some place that has a human to serve you and buy one to suit.
Get a decent size one something like 16 or 32 Gb.
Follow the tutorial on here on how to to update your maps. I used Basecamp the first time, and after that I just dragged and dropped the maps I wanted onto the memory card.
