On SD-card only works one map, named gmapsupp.img, except you have an Colorado/Dakota/Oregon with actual firmware.

May be you can try to use the GmapTool to join those 2 maps together & name it gmapsupp.img, then put it in the SD card. It works for me.

I have two unlocked maps as well that works fine, called them gmapsupp.img and gmapsup2.img.
May be this works only with two unlocked maps, I'm not sure if it works if you would need two differend .unl files though.

You can have max. 4 type of .img files, gmapprom.img gmapsupp.img gmapsup2.img + Basemap.

You can 2 .img maps in one with gmaptool like swtko suggested, on this way

Step 1- prepare unlock code file.
-put the 2 unlock codes (25 characters each) into notepad in one line without spaces and save as gmapsupp.unl

Step 2- combine the 2 maps into one gmapsupp.img

-first rename you 2 maps as 1gmapsupp.img and 2gmapsupp.img
-In DOS prompt > gmaptool -j -o gmapsupp.img 1gmapsupp.img 2gmapsupp.img (Enter)
-This will create one gmapsupp.img for the 2 maps in gmaptool folder.

Step3- Put both file (gmapsupp.img & gmapsupp.unl) under garmin folder in your gps device.

or if you have that maps in mapsource, you can merge them in mapsource and send 1 .img file from mapsource..

Welcome ;) and stay here and you'll find always useful threads ;) ... Yes you can use with bluechart and similary maps, but like some of users wrote them expirience and problem when you mix marine+street garmin maps, you can't mix "marin" garmin maps and street maps... Use 1 sd card for "marin" maps and another one for street maps - like garmin ct nt , topo maps etc. , today sd cards are very cheap for 5$ you can buy 2GB SD Card :) ...

You are welcome
