I've got a new Drivesmart 61 LMT-S with Europe maps.
I want to add US maps but whatever i try, i always get the message that the maps are damaged and unusable.
Used the unlocked image D3836180A.img and also gmapsupp.img. These were copied in the unit in the Garmin/maps folder but also on a SD card in a Garmin folder.
The message when starting the GPS is always that the maps are damaged and unusable and i should go to Garmin.com to download new maps. The map isn't selectable in the map list.

What am i doing wrong???????

Most probably your device firmware needs to be patched in order to recognize unlocked maps.
Could you please give me your HWID ? anf firmware version?

I asked for the HWID of your device ! If you do not know how to find it just send me somewhere your curent firmware!
Also if you patch it and make in the feature update will need again new patching.

What do you mean by HWid? The serial number?

I did not ask the serial number neither the device.xml file i asked the HWID of your device i realise that you do not know what it is neither how to find it so please upload somewhere and send me the link your current firmware me to check it

In the meantime i transferred the US map trough Mapsource, the map was unlocked with the JM keygen 1.5 on the ID of the GPS but whe i start it up, it says 'cannot unlock maps'.

How doe the HWID look like?

Any idea in which folder in can find the firmware and which extensionn it has, i only see smal files

it should be gupdate.gcd in a hidden .system directory

You are talking about patching 3.20 ,best use the latest version 3.40 this can be downloaded from Garmin

or update your device with GE and use the gupdate.gcd that has been created on your device.
