HI all, I have one situation here. Need to upload (extract) map from Garmin quest device. Google doesnt help me much. found java (1,3v) based soft called GPS EXPLORER but it was made ages ago and seems doesnt work with java 7. I do not want extract base map. The map is for mongolia. This is only hope to get good map me.

Please anyone share knowledge.

Tnx mate for reply, could you please give an url for WIN platform, coz google returns too many of them mainly non windows ones. I found [Please Register or Login to download file] this one, but dont know how to point USB port into serial port , if you familiar with this soft could you give me a hint ?

Sadly my gps become dead an hour before i opened your PM. It was connected by usb cable and it was on state. suddenly its started doing restarts automatically and after few second just beeps and gone. i was doing nothing with device and no software was running. Maybe some short circiuts thru usb? dunno what to do. anyway big tnx mate.

Hey mate big tnx. Definitely it was discharged . It was on USB 3 days so i thought also it charges by USB but it seems not. Actually seems succefully unloaded map, (around 15 files). But GPS says there only one map file. So now i think its better put all together into one big map file. like suppimg etc. Long ago also was viewing one software for map editing but forgot also name could you recommend good one (free or cracked/possible link).
