Hi all this is my first time here i find myself here because have baught a garmin nuvi 40 and it only has 3 months of updates and i am intrested in being able to update after this without aditional payments being made to garmin for them i would appreciate any tutorials or info on maps for my device thanks all look forward to chating to you all.

Welcome here. You will certainly find all you need. However, for the non English speaking (like me) it world be nice when you searched (and hopefully find) the punctuation keys first. ;-)


This would clear up all your postings a lot and could mean the difference between fast help or long question/answer/question/... threads.
It will even save lifes : ‘Let’s eat Grandma!’ or ‘Let’s eat, Grandma!’. Big difference
