I didn't realise I was so thick until today, I want to update map on my Nuvi 1240, I believe all I have to do is renew the one .img file that is in the "Garmin" folder on the Micro SD card but for the life of me I cant find any map downloads!! The only links I can find is here:

I assume I need an unlocked .img file, but all the links, which have multiple parts? only go to a page that says its suspended?

Can someone help please?

I believe I found the .IMG file for 2019.20, UK&ROI (thank you FireFox58) I have extracted it, but I have noticed that the old .IMG (from 2013!) on the Micro SD card was 2GB but the new map is only 287MB, does this sound right? Thanks.

Ok, think I worked that out, old map was western europe, I put on UK&ROI so smaller file,

It appears to be working on my Garmin so I am sorted, thanks.
