Nuvi 1390 update help

Hi everyone!
I have a nuvi 1390 with very old maps installed (2010.10).
I want to update to something more recent, I followed lot of your tutorials and topics, but still doesn't work!
I've taken the img file of the new map: Garmin.City.Navigator.Italy.Greece.NT.2015.40 (I choose this because I live in Italy and I wanted to test the update with 400MB file instead of GB)
I put it on my SD card (I've made the Garmin folder)
Nothing...
Maybe is loked? Ok, firstly I downloaded gimgtools-0.03-win32, I dragged my img on gimgunlock.exe: a prompt window quickly appears, scroll and close... No messages...
I tried again with the SD... nothing!
In another topic I found another unlock tool (UN-G)... I downloaded it, used all the tools and the answer looks always the same: "This IMG File is not locked !"
I tried again with the SD... nothing!
So maybe is the img file that is not so good...
I found many links to map, but all the downloaded img (of this italy-greece) are exactly the same file: so it has to be the right one!
The last thing I've not done yet, is replace the internal maps... But it seemed so easy to use an external sd card...
Please, help me someway...

If you have not allready done it then Put the Italy.Greece.NT.2015.40.img into a folder called Garmin on the sd card. You will then have to rename the Italy.Greece.NT.2015.40.img to gmapsupp.img then reboot your Garmin.
