Nuvi 250 update

Hey there, I am new here to the forum, I have tried looking around the forum and found old tutorials. However, I am looking for a tutorial to update my Nuvi 250 maps by using the latest NTU provided in the new maps forum.

Clear guidance is very much appreciated!

Welcome to the forum, your old nuvi 250 is not compatible with NTU maps ,you don't say what countries you want to update, your location suggests N. America
You only need the map file gmapsupp.img
<SD card>
Garmin/gmapsupp.img

tutorials-with/
Before you post, "The archive is corrupt or damaged"
Please make sure your archive software is up to date or just Use the latest [Please Register or Login to download file]

Thanks for your kind reply. I'm in Bosnia.

Does it mean that I can just replace the gmapsupp.img in my SD card with a newer gmapsupp.img map?

I read that I can download the ones from OpenMaps? Or is there a better way to get the .img file for this old unit?

You can use other maps compatible with Garmin devices or use one from here to replace the older one on your SD card. If space is a problem Eastern Europe covers Bosnia and East
