Hello,

I am trying to find out how to update my sister`s Garmin Nuvi 250w maps for Australia. do i need to unlock it first or something.

Don`t know what i am looking for or what to do with it. Also i need to know where abouts on the Garmin is the map info.

Can someone help me out please.

You only must load an unlocked Image Version of the >>>new map and copy the file gmapsupp.img into a folder Garmin on SD-card.
To reolace the old map you have to delete the gmapprom.img in intenal memory and copy the new map on its place.
