i have nuvi 50lm uk and ireland map, so my question are is it possible to put extra map in sd card? is it i need to unlock software? and how to do it? i can't find out how to change settings to mtp, and how to find out hwinfo

High yes you can put as much maps want just to have space but you need to patch first your firmware

there is no need to do anything
nuvi 50 work fine with unlocked maps
