i knowthis is not the correct topic...but i need help!
could somebody help mi out with my nuvi 650 euro? i have received it from my brother as a gift...but without any unlock code or paper, due to the fact that they have lost it. The card it in is an old but original sd hungarian map card... my questions:
- Could i unlock it to have any other navigation software on it?
- After i switch it on i get an info on the top of the screen that GPS is off, why is it?
It is very urgent to make it refresh and work because i am travelling in a week!

No, you cannot.
But you can update the maps by some you find here, simply by placing them on sd when your device has not the needed memory. Or by replacing the ones in memory (risky !!)

No idea? Could it be you have to switch it on somewhere in the software?

do i need any software to contact with the device? for full europe map which should i use? there is a lot of versions...which is the most recent?
Could i uprage the firmware or the navigation software on the device?
where could i find support softwares?

Yes and no.

You need to go to the Main Menu, then go to Tools, then to System. Set the GPS Simulator to OFF.
