nuvi 760 - Multi Maps on SD ?

I have unlocked and selected which areas of 2 downloads.

NT North America 2019-10 and NT Europe 2018-20.

I have used Mapinstall to load the maps to a 4g sd, but only the last map loaded is seen, the first has been removed.

I want to load areas of the 2019-10 in Canada and several areas in Europe but with different names ie: UK or Italy and Germany. 4 Maps in total.

On the current img all that is seen is 'gmapsupp' when I copy the img from the sd. When using the nuvi I can see the name of the OEM map installed and the new map whichever is on the sd.

You may create the maps that you like with mapsource as you said one by one and just every time to rename the map name
Your device can support in an SD card gmasupp.img and gmasupp1.img
So you have two maps ... just the files for your device if i remember well should be less than 2GB each

4Gb map size is normally for the latest SW for 760 in mentioned above gmasupp.img and gmasupp1.img!

Ok,

The size of one map 2018-20 UK-ROI is 275.6 mb and the 2019-10 Canada 77.7 mb.

I have using Mapinstall put the UK-ROI 275.6 mb img (gmapsupp) into the Onboard 'Garmin'.

I still have 1.2gb free memory, have tried putting the Canada 77.7 mb img (gmapsup1 have also tried gmapprom) to the same 'Garmin', but it is not shown with 'Maps' on the screen only the UK-ROI is seen.

Basically, I'm trying avoid using a sd, or is that a must.

gmapprom and gmapprom1 must work in device only (plus gmapsupp was loaded by you). Try rename both your file to check 2019-10 Canada work-ability.
