I have a Garmin GPSmap 60CSx that I am trying to keep running and I am looking for an internal part. The part I am looking for is called a PC Holder Garmin Part number 145-00767-00. It is attached to the PC board when you open up the back half of the GPS. The screws which attach the back half screw into it keeping the GPS tightly closed. Link to a photo of the part below. The item in a 60Cx would be identical. Dont know about the earlier 60 series. If someone has old unusable unit for parts I would be interested in purchase. Thanks

Sometimes on fleabay I see GPS's for sale for parts only, nothing there?

I tried looking on eBay first and the best I could find was a non working Cx in rough condition for about US$80.00.
The part is also out of stock from a online supplier. There are also some questionable online suppliers who state they have the part available but have minimal contact info, no location information and don't respond to emails.

Thanks for responding. I looked at them but they are a questionable online suppliers who state they have the part available but have minimal contact info, no location information and don't respond to emails. They just want your credit card info. They don't even do Paypal.

Thanks for the link confirming my suspicions. There are a few others on the internet that take you back to qsiseco.com webpages with too good to be true prices for many other items in there to good to be true "inventory"
