Sounds like corruption if they are not deleting. Are you able to hard reset?

Thought so. Hope you get them deleted and HOPE that is the complete answer.

Brother, please tell em how to hard reset the wince6 device..

I am desperate to do so because I know all will work fine after that. Is ther any way to do it like we do Nokia phones hard reset..???

I get Factory reset option when I am in GPS mode... I did it many times.. after clicking factory reset I get Screen Calibration option to tap screen at many points.. Thats it.. No files get deleted from C: or Resident Flash..

Any way to make the device clean Like I got it new from Manufacturer.? I have total back up on PC.

What happens if you hold down the power button for a long time? Usually about 10-15 seconds. Past where it might have a window that says "shutdown"? It should shutdown by itself after that and the screen goes blank while you are still holding down the power button. Or take a good look at your device and there might be a little hole that says "reset" or something like that.

Hmmm! Just guessing here but is there any way you can make a copy of the registry to your computer and delete the files on the computer and then copy it back to the device?

EDIT: Is there a CD that came with your device that might let you set it back to original specifications?

If Total Commander didn't work, you can also try "Free Commander."

sounds risky.. as I have got a new application in that I can delete the registry ..also i can take a back up of registry and restore it.. But when I tried to restore it says path too long..

Attaching that application here.. you need to switch PNA to Sync mode and install the App on PC then it gets install on PNA.. you can choose MMC so it will not disappear after restart.. (this procedure was for new people) .,.. dont know what is it called.. but with help of Total Commander Search option I managed to delete the Garmin registry but unfortunately The Problem is still there.. Drove few kilometers with some route and GPS fix in my SUV.. Still the problem there.

No there was no CD with it.. But have asked the seller to give me Original firmware.. lets see.,

The Pain is I have another 3.5 inch Wince6 PNA and if I copy the same folder from this PNA to 3.5 PNA then it works perfectly and very fast .. thats the surprising thing. May be there is some issue with resolution.. I tried different basemaps also ... I though the different versions of GMAPBMAP must be creating problems.. but still no luck.. Worked on it until 3:30 am.. lets see today night (Whole night ;-)

NO Luck with the 20w or 30w version... But thisone is working perfect .. no map cut from any side but has some issues like it uses the PNA keypad and doesnt have its own keypad like 30w has it.. and You can not switch maps from mapsource .. it crashes when you tap Mapsource.. also interface is not good but most important the map is not getting cut.

Will try 10w today if I get it.. lets see.

Very strange! I mean 20w worked fine before then goes bad.

I'm a Chinese, there are many PNA manufacturers here. I encountered many times your problem, it caused by CE display driver. issued was fixed after the project provider(for example MTK company) re-compile the CE.

If your PNA worked fine before, I'd suggest you got the ROM from seller, re-flash your device.

HI Tanjj.. Thanks a lot for throwing some light on my problem.. I see hope now.. But surprisingly Ausus version works just perfect.. Just it doesn't have the Keypad which 20w has.. i love that.

I have already asked for the Original Firmware ROM to DX site .. (I have bought it from ther) they have replied that they will get back asap..

Thanks anyways..

Best regards
