Ive downloaded the 2020.10 NTU maps for europe. I need to update my friends zumo 550 motorbike tomorrow. Do i need to unlock these maps for them to work using gimgunlock.

Not 100% sure on how to go about this, can i put all maps on my external SD.

Could someone outline remaining steps for me...

Your friends zumo 550 does not use the NTU maps you downloaded.


You will need to download the NT maps 2019.20 from the thread below.Only download the gmapprom.img from post 1
Format a SD card (not larger than 4Gb) Fat32, Change the name of the gmapprom.img to gmapsupp.img ,create a folder called Garmin and place it in there.

Use Gimgun to unlock.
