I´m kind of new in Patching new maps to Garmin and I need your help.

I want to update my Nuvi 300 maps (I have TomTom also and its easy) but I search here and there is to many programs and I don´t know what to use.

Can anyone tell me what programs and what do I need to do to update these Nuvi 300?

If it helps, I need Portugal maps.

Go to you nuvi \garmin folder.... here is GMAPPROM.IMG or GMAPSUPP.IMG replace it with this one

I have the City Navigator® Europe NT v9. The new map supports this old Navigator? And by the way, can I put the new City Navigator® Europe NT 2012.20 ?
