My Advice: look a the specs for your 1340 here

You will see that does not support 3D buildings or Junction View (JCV) or any other updateable features. You can update only the maps (a single IMG file).

I just updated the maps on my friend's Nuvi 1300. I put gmapsupp.img [unlocked] on a SD card in a folder called "map".
