Open data.zip/ui_igo9.
Do you see 480_234 there?

That is correct--keep them as zipped files in your Primo folder.

OK...data.zip should be good then.
You said earlier that you 'changed' or replaced branding.zip?
Put back the original branding.zip that came with the Primo 1.1 package and see what happens.
Only very rarely does branding.zip have anything to do with resolution..UNLESS it has been modified with a skin, etc.

i have done what you said, and the error IS still there,
the guy who sold me the car was using a navigation software called "finean" but the maps are outdated 2007, plus ive never heard of finean befor.

so what could be the problem ? how can i make igo work on it ??

I've never heard of "Finean" either..so I assume it might be no good ;-)

There still could be something wrong with your data.zip--since I don't know where you got it.
So try this one:
Removed dead link

It is specifically for Primo 1.1 and specifically for your stated resolution (only). Don't do anything with it except to put it in your main Primo folder (replacing what you have). Then see what happens.

The message does mean that the data.zip does not have the required resolution in it. However you say it does.
I don't understand why you changed the data.zip to "one compatible to your device". Data.zips are not compatible with devices, but they support a resolution or they don't !! Maybe you replaced the original with a non Primo or non Primo 1.1 data.zip?
So unless the original data.zip does not have a 480_234 folder, there was no reason to replace it.
So the ultimate question is : Does the original data.zip support 480_234? When yes, put it back, delete the save folder and start Primo.

edit: or try the one Yurbuh Tuggly posted.

Excellent! And you are welcome. Obviously something was wrong with the data.zip, or as nabi said, it was for a different version of iGO/Primo.

Yes, you need maps to go any further.

Oh and by the way, I meant to commend you on this. Many people don't bother to check their resolution with a utility first, and then it becomes much more difficult to diagnose a problem--or it becomes a guessing game. Especially on Double-Din units which many times do not run navigation software at the resolution shown on the box or in the specifications.
So...good job!
