Those look like non-TTS voices. There is nothing else like NUA or LUA or LOQUENDO? What happens if you unzip those voices? Anything stated? I'm just trying to definitely figure out your program. You're sure you got it from here - honestly?

I followed a link on this site which is where I got the map. Honestly cannot find the link again as I had been looking at lots of different posts trying to find it.
If it helps the total size of the program on the sd card is a little over 50 megabytes

Believe me, I'm NOT trying to give you a hard time!!!! Let me explain it this way. When a member goes from GPS forum to GPS forum picking up what he thinks is gonna make his device better all that usually happens is that the program stops working because all the different pieces gotten from other places conflict with what you originally got from someplace else. Plus you can't go to another forum looking for support since they have no idea what you did. Everything here that we recommend works with everything else. So my best advice is to stay here so we can help.
I'll direct you to my iGO8 program that I uploaded here. I KNOW it works 100%. You now know what to do, so just do it.

As you say chas i'm using your Primo1.1; i just asked about adding a line to systxt to see if that instructing primo to start directly would help it run more efficiently. When i go "up the smoke" the problem sometimes occurs around the M25/M3/M4 area where they seem to have speedcams every other 100yds; i have FBF uk speedcams.
I'll leave my systxt "as is" because generally it works very well & i find Primo1.1 is currently the best version for me & my device.
thank you & all the best

Is there an error message when it crashes?
Tue Jan 17, 2012 11:50 am
no fbf; no crash report or error report, the vocal directions/instructions/advice just stops working; a soft reset & all is tickertyboo again. as i try not 2 go up around the "smoke" too often it is not a major problem. i have driven from dover down to spain & found the device & programme working without any trouble. i believe that average speedcams cause the problem so next time i load speedcams i'll delete them as they are easy to spot on the road.

Glad to hear that the program is working OK except for the "cutting out". That concerns me. Shouldn't happen at all like that. FBF's speedcams are fine. There could be some possible reasons such as too much content causing a memory lapse. When you first start-up the program, it might be near the limit of memory so when more is necessary at a certain point, the memory requirement increases and thus the crash.
Some possible reasons include too many maps, too large an area of speedcams, TTS, too many POIs, too many routes requested to be saved, etc. Try limiting some or even delete some [after backing them up first] to see if that makes a difference. You should also delete the save folder whenever you make a change.
