Address Bar/compass IGO Primo

Postby Jcar1 » Sun Mar 31, 2013 6:38 pm

Hello,

Is there a way to hide the address bar/compass at the top of the screen without changing skins in IGO Primo, it disappears only when on a highway but is visible when driving on streets.

Not what you want to hear but there are some very good skins around. I use diMkaWA_P156 in P2

Thanks, I tried it before it's not bad but was looking to use the default skin. I'm guessing there is no easy way to hide it, it just annoys me.

A lot of the skin features can be turned off to look and feel like the default skin.

Is there any way to change the speed limit signs to USA ones?

I don't think it's possible but I'm referring to the icon that pops up when speeding, it is round and yellow. I am looking for the one that pops up with the default skin which is rectangular and white

If you are using an outside skin, it might override the map designation also. Make sure that you've chosen US English in the language content.

Thanks, it doesn't seem to work but that's ok. I was wondering of there is a way to save settings with Dimka skin, when I change street labels to 2D,they go back to 3D when I restart.

It's possible that you might have to delete the save folder. Just rename the present save folder to oldsave or something like that. A new save folder is created the next time you start/end the program.

I've noticed that as well... The speed limit signs are in US mph.. However, when you are speeding, its always in kph... Guess we just need to get used to the fact, that most other places use the metric system..

Did you make the change in settings to mph [US]?

I spoke to soon, it saved the 2d street labels for one day, now they go back to 3D again when I restart. What's strange is the setting does save but the map is showing it in the 3D, in order to get it to 2D, I have to turn the setting off then back on. The good news is speed limit signs are still in the US format.
On another note, how do you use the picture wiewer, I created a folder on my SD card but I am not able to view them?
