You'll be OK. Let us know how you make out. If you have further questions just ask. Yes, to the speed warning. When you get the programs working and get an actual GPS satellite lock, I want you to go to settings in each and set-up the programs as you like. Just know though that not every road will have an overspeed warning. It's usually the main highways.

Maps go into content\map. POIs go into content\poi. Speedcams [.txt only and keep it to a small area] go into content\speedcam.

There aren't any special maps for walking. I do believe there is a pedestrian mode in settings but since I've never used it, I can't say how effective it is. As for the Primo POIs, you can use the POIs from iGO 8.3 in its content folder.

Morning, just tried the mio in the car now ( not moving , just sitting in it ), picked up the sats but the map seems strange , just a big green blob with a red arrow (me) how do i zoom the map out to show my surroundings please, or will it adjust when i start driving?. Any manuals for this anywhere at all. All seems excellent , problem is trying to work everything out ;o)
Tried checking out the PoI`s bit of a minefield there also...which is which...which one will be suitable for what I need etc.
Thanks

OK, my "out of the box programs" that you downloaded - you did download my programs, right? - are designed to do just that, work out of the box and be ready for the most part. Before I guide you further, I would like to know exactly what you've done step by step.

my33 extracted straight to the mio.....primo extracted to the SD card....apps folder swapped....or do you think I have put the wrong apps folder in? The map is there as such, when I pull out you can see wales but it is all blue with no details , graphics at all..

In the iGO 8.3 program, I want you to go to settings, 2nd page\ about\maps and tell me what you see. In Primo 1.2 go to more\ help\ about\ more\ content\ maps and tell me.

And that's your problem. The Wales map is no good! It's not showing up when it should. Where did you get it? It's very possible that it's an old map for iGO 8.0 and not iGO 8.3. Try the Europe map from our sub-section to show you how it works properly. Unfortunately, we don't [no one] have a Wales map solely.

I may found an answer for you in the Garmin section. First of all, all you are seeing is the base map which is the world with its borders. You are not seeing any detailed map of an area. Stay here once more. Don't go anywhere.

EDIT: You'll need to download this program from post #1 for the Garmin program for your device. http://www.navitotal.com/showthread.php?1274-Garmin-Mobile-XT-for-WinCE5.0-program

Yes! However there is no text to speech - just driving instructions. I looked at the UK map in Garmin and it looks like it contains Wales. Have a look http://www.navitotal.com/showthread.php?3630-City-Navigator-Europe-NT-2011.30-UnLocked-Images

EDIT: There is a voice but it's non-TTS.
