Application Primo2.exe has performed an illegal operation N2

Hi, I followed this thread and copied over the dowlodade files to my SD card on Navman N20. Everytime I try to start Primo2.exe the following mwssage pops up:

"Application Primo2.exe has performed an illegal operation and will be shut down. If the problem persists, contact the program vendor.

Program: Primo2.exe
Exception: 0xC0000005
Address: FF0B7210"

I've been searching like crazy on the forum for an answer but still haven't found a solution.. :scratch_one-s_head_

Is there anyone that could enlighten me what I could do about this?

Did you copy the primo folder as downloaded or did you load it up with content and edit the sys.txt first?

I have seen this error when using incompatible dll's in the primo folder and when trying to change display driver in sys.txt

I downloaded the "iGo-Primo_2" folder. And then straight from my PC copied it to the N20, without making any changes.

Is that the NAME of the folder you put on your SD card?
If so, that is not correct.
That is merely the CONTAINER of all the parts and bits downloaded.
The correct name of the folder is Primo2 within the container folder. Copy just that to your SD Card. All by itself in the root of the card.

Yes that's the name of the folder I did put on my SD Card, iGo-Primo_2...
OK I'm in the process putting the parts in the root. It'll take some 30 minutes and then will get back to you

An unknown EXE from who knows where?
And it's not even Primo 2!
It's Primo 1.2.
Is your intention to deliberately break a Primo 2 installation?
