Are you running 2 Primos at the same time? Then the first one started could have the monopoly of the GPS receiver that is then locked for the second Primo.
Why not simply add more than one skin in the skin folder? Just change the skin and restart.

Autodetecting GPS receiver means Primo can't find the GPS receiver.

Is the sys.txt set up correctly?
Also on windows ce, only one application can use the GPS receiver at any one time, unless you use port splitter.

Hi thanks for the reply.I was just trying to experiment a bit and save the bother of changing skins etc.Just lazy...
I wasnt trying to run them both at once though.I was shutting the first one down before starting the second.The first version always gets a fix,the second version never has,even though it does get one on another device which i have.

I really don't think you are saving any time or bother by running two Primos instead of one with two skins (either way you have to restart).
And it may take a complete reboot of the device to 'release' the GPS chip for another app to use. This depends on the device, WinCE version, and maybe some other stuff.
But that's just my opinion..I could be wrong.

Hi everyone. I'm apologise for my Eglish. I'm using mio mitac P350 During my route the primo 2.0 gives my the same message for a couple seconds, and then its connecting to satellyte again. All this repeat during or while i plan a route or whitout. I have been using detsinator 7 with no problem so gps reiceiver must be good. I have check the system file on D:\Primo2\save\profiles\01 and the gps cataloge had only

gpstime="1364378015"
last_gps_date="2013.03.27."
last_gps_time="10:29:32.000"
and i add the braud rate =4800 and port= 2 and now is like this.

[gps]
baud_rate="4800"
gpstime="1364378015"
last_gps_date="2013.03.27."
last_gps_time="10:29:32.000"
port="2"

I can't remember from what thead i downloaded but i have download and the repair pack which i install corectly step by step.
Thank's in advanse

It sounds like you might be having a memory problem. Most memory problems happen because too much content is trying to load and the device crashes. Try this: delete or reduce the area of speedcams, delete the dem and building files, reduce the number of maps you are trying to load, TTS might not be able to work with your device and you might have to delete the TTS folders.

EDIT: You might also have to delete your save folder.
If it ain't broke don't fix it!
ALWAYS BACK-UP YOUR FILES/FOLDERS BEFORE MAKING EDITING CHANGES!

Please do NOT post any thanks. Simply press the hand icon with the "thumb up" which is the thank you button.
