Becker Active 50 & Primo 9.6.1.215570: How to disable 2D and

IGO R3 offered the possibility to disable 2D and 3D terrain from the menu.

In Promo 2, I was able to disable the 3D elevation by removing the appropriate dem file. Any setting in sys.txt that I knew from IGO 8.3 did not work.

There is no menu option (at least I did not find it) to disable the 2D terrain, too.

Do you know any sys.txt setting to disable 2D and 3D terrain?

Thanks

As you said, just delete the dem file[s] from content\dem. You also may have to delete your save folder.

Removing the dem file, it only disables the 3D terrain. The 2D terrain is still visible. How to disable the 2D terrain?

Did you see where I said you may have to also delete your save folder?

Yes, I saw it. I remember I have deleted it several times due to other reasons, while the dem file was already removed. To be sure I will test again and come back with feedback. Thank you.

Partly solved: 2D terrain removed by deleting the corresponding DEM file. (Initially I deleted Europe.dem and kept Euroasia.dem -> 2D terrain was still there, then I deleted all DEM files and 2D terrain is gone now).

Now I would sill like a sys.txt setting to solve the problem in a more elegant way.

Good. But I don't think there is an independent sys.txt entry. Has to be done manually.
